AssetGroupOperation

  • A single operation can create or remove an asset group.

  • The update_mask field uses a FieldMask to specify which resource fields are modified during an update operation.

  • The operation field, which can only be one of create, update, or remove, determines the type of mutate operation performed on an asset group.

  • The create operation expects no resource name for a new asset group.

  • The update operation requires the asset group to have a valid resource name, and the remove operation requires a resource name in the specified format.

Fields

operation

Union field. The mutate operation.

operation can be only one of the following:

create

AssetGroup

Create operation: No resource name is expected for the new asset group

remove

Remove operation: A resource name for the removed asset group is expected, in this format: customers/{customer_id}/assetGroups/{asset_group_id}

update

AssetGroup

Update operation: The asset group is expected to have a valid resource name.
