Method: projects.operations.delete

  • Deletes a running operation, signaling the client is no longer interested in the result without actually cancelling the operation itself.

  • Uses a DELETE request to the specified URL with the operation's name as a path parameter and an empty request body.

  • Returns an empty response body upon successful deletion or an UNIMPLEMENTED error if the server lacks support.

  • Requires specific OAuth scopes for authorization: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/earthengine or https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform.

Deletes a long-running operation. This method indicates that the client is no longer interested in the operation result. It does not cancel the operation. If the server doesn't support this method, it returns google.rpc.Code.UNIMPLEMENTED.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/earthengine
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
