ee.Geometry.MultiPolygon.type

  • The type() method returns the GeoJSON type of a geometry, in this case, a MultiPolygon.

  • When applied to a MultiPolygon object, type() returns the string "MultiPolygon".

  • The method can be accessed using the syntax MultiPolygon.type().

  • This functionality is available in both JavaScript and Python environments within Google Earth Engine.

 Returns the GeoJSON type of the geometry.
