Oggi stiamo apportando una modifica in modo che le miniature dei video vengano mostrate accanto ai risultati di ricerca di Google soltanto quando il video è il contenuto principale di una pagina.
In questo modo, per gli utenti sarà più facile capire cosa aspettarsi quando visitano una pagina.
In precedenza, le miniature dei video venivano mostrate in due modi diversi.
Per le pagine in cui il video era il contenuto principale, veniva visualizzato all'inizio di una scheda:
Questa modalità rimane invariata. L'altro formato veniva adottato quando un video era presente in una pagina, ma non era l'elemento principale.
In questo caso, la miniatura veniva visualizzata dopo una scheda.
Questo secondo formato non sarà più disponibile. Negli esperimenti, questa modifica ha avuto un impatto minimo sul coinvolgimento complessivo dei publisher.
