O Google I/O é nosso festival anual
para desenvolvedores e, neste ano, ele foi totalmente virtual. Mas, assim como em qualquer evento virtual ou presencial,
vimos muita coisa em três dias. Para não ficar de fora, veja esta lista de notícias
e comunicados relacionados à Pesquisa que podem ser do seu interesse.
A palestra de abertura discutiu
como o Google procura ser útil nos momentos mais importantes. Sundar anunciou um
novo marco do desenvolvimento
de produtos chamado Multitask Unified Models (MUM), que se baseia em arquiteturas de IA
abertas para superar desafios complexos de informação. O MUM pode fazer treinamento cruzado em vários idiomas
e tarefas para entender melhor as informações. Os avanços nessa área nos ajudarão a entender
melhor as consultas e as páginas da Web. Essas mudanças ainda não foram publicadas, e não será necessário
fazer atualizações no seu site para isso. Outros recursos da Pesquisa que estão chegando incluem

Para SEOs e desenvolvedores, o vídeo Novidades
na Pesquisa é um bom ponto de partida. Nele, você conhecerá duas novas marcações do schema.org disponíveis para
conteúdo em vídeo. A marcação Clip já está disponível
para qualquer site com vídeos, e a SeekToAction está na versão Beta. Essas marcações podem permitir que o Google exiba momentos
importantes dos seus vídeos na Pesquisa.
Durante um dos encontros, o Google anunciou o recurso "Follow"
no Chrome Canary nos EUA. É um recurso experimental criado para que as pessoas
sigam os sites de interesse delas, de grandes editores a pequenos blogs locais, tocando
no botão "Follow" (Seguir) no Chrome. Esse encontro abordou o engajamento do público e o recurso de seguir sites
de editores na Web. Houve uma discussão sobre o recurso que o Google vem desenvolvendo
nessa área com a comunidade de desenvolvedores e editores da Web.
Também realizamos várias sessões sobre as Core Web Vitals:
O encontro foi virtual, mas houve oportunidades de interagir com outros SEOs durante o evento. Havia
uma área da Pesquisa no domo da Web na I/O Adventure. Além disso, realizamos demonstrações e reuniões
sobre SEO técnico, e foi ótimo ver pessoas do mundo todo comparecerem às sessões
de networking e de perguntas e respostas apresentadas por Martin Splitt.

But as with any events, virtual, or in-person, a lot\nof information was covered over the three-day event. In case you missed it, here is a list of some\nSearch-related news and announcements that might be of interest to you.\n\n\nThe [keynote](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XFFrahd05OM) covered how\nGoogle aims to be helpful in moments that matter. Sundar announced a\n[new product\ndevelopment milestone called Multitask Unified Models (MUM)](https://www.blog.google/products/search/introducing-MUM), which builds on open, existing AI\narchitectures to solve complex info challenges. MUM is able to cross-train across many languages\nand tasks to better understand information. Advances in this area will help us better understand\nqueries as well as pages on the web. Follow is an experimental feature designed to allow people to\nfollow the websites they care about, from large publishers to small neighborhood blogs, by tapping\na Follow button in Chrome.
