В феврале мы представили функцию объединенных данных о домене в Search Console. Благодаря этому новшеству владельцы сайтов могут получать исчерпывающую информацию о статусе своих ресурсов, не переключаясь между ними.
Мы получили множество положительных отзывов от владельцев сайтов, подтвердивших право собственности на доменные ресурсы. Чаще всего пользователи отмечали, что до перехода на доменные ресурсы они получали заниженную статистику по трафику своих сайтов, тогда как новый метод помогает им эффективнее анализировать агрегированные данные по кликам и показам. Почти все пользователи, подтвердившие право собственности на доменные ресурсы, сообщили, что им нравится это нововведение и что работать с доменными ресурсами удобнее, чем с обычными ресурсами с префиксом в URL.
Однако изменение записи DNS может быть непростой задачей, особенно для небольших и средних компаний.
Насколько нам известно, основная проблема, из-за которой владельцы сайтов не переходят на доменные ресурсы, связана с подтверждением права собственности на домен. Чтобы устранить ее, мы обратились за помощью к нескольким регистраторам доменных имен и нашли способ автоматизировать часть процедуры. Теперь достаточно следовать инструкциям, чтобы обновить конфигурацию в сервисе регистратора, после чего в записи DNS появится предоставленный нами токен подтверждения. Это существенно упростит процедуру проверки права собственности.
Как автоматически подтверждать право собственности с помощью записи DNS
Чтобы подтвердить право собственности на домен с помощью новой процедуры, нажмите "Добавить ресурс" в селекторе вверху на боковой панели Search Console, а затем выберите вариант "Доменный ресурс". Далее необходимо следовать инструкциям в системе. В частности, вам потребуется перейти на сайт регистратора и применить нужные изменения (эта процедура стала удобнее и проще). When we asked Domain property users about their satisfaction with the feature,\nalmost all of them seem to be satisfied. Furthermore, most of these users reported that they find\ndomain properties more useful than the traditional URL prefix properties.\n\n\nHowever, changing a DNS record is not always trivial, especially for small and medium businesses.\nWe heard that the main challenge preventing site owners from switching to Domain properties is\ngetting their domain verified. To help with this challenge, we collaborated with various domain\nname registrars to automate part of the verification flow. The flow will guide you through the\nnecessary steps needed to update your registrar configuration so that your DNS record includes the\nverification token we provide.
