Fizemos uma mudança para que as miniaturas só apareçam ao lado dos resultados da pesquisa do Google quando o vídeo for o conteúdo principal da página.
Isso ajuda os usuários a entender melhor o que esperar quando visitarem uma página.
Antes, as miniaturas de vídeos eram mostradas de duas maneiras diferentes.
Nas páginas em que o vídeo era o conteúdo principal, ela aparecia no início de uma listagem:
Isso não mudou. O outro formato era quando um vídeo estava presente na página, mas não era o elemento principal dela.
Nesse caso, a miniatura aparecia depois de uma listagem:
Esse segundo formato vai ser descontinuado. Nos experimentos, essa mudança teve um impacto mínimo no engajamento geral dos editores.
