La definizione della vista dati può essere impostata per i grafici in modo da visualizzare una vista derivata dalla tabella di dati specificata e non dalla tabella stessa. Ad esempio, se la definizione della visualizzazione di un grafico indica che le colonne della visualizzazione sono [0, 3], durante il disegno del grafico vengono prese in considerazione solo la prima e la terza colonna della tabella di dati.
