Method: billingAssignments.insert

  • The API method inserts a new billing assignment and returns the new assignment.

  • Only one of advertiserId or campaignId is supported per request for the new billing assignment.

  • No assignment will be returned if the new assignment has no effect.

  • The HTTP request uses the POST method to the specified URL with profileId and billingProfileId path parameters.

  • The request and response bodies contain an instance of BillingAssignment.

Inserts a new billing assignment and returns the new assignment. Only one of advertiserId or campaignId is support per request. If the new assignment has no effect (assigning a campaign to the parent advertiser billing profile or assigning an advertiser to the account billing profile), no assignment will be returned.

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of BillingAssignment.
