Los objetivos de conversión te ayudan a organizar tus acciones de conversión para que puedas realizar optimizaciones en función de tus objetivos publicitarios con mayor facilidad.
Descripción general de la administración de objetivos
Los objetivos de conversión se organizan en una jerarquía. Los objetivos del cliente definen los objetivos predeterminados para toda tu cuenta, mientras que los objetivos de la campaña anulan los objetivos del cliente para las campañas con requisitos específicos de ofertas y optimización.
El flujo de trabajo de administración de objetivos es el siguiente:
Crea un ConversionAction.
Cuando creas la acción de conversión, Google Ads realiza automáticamente los siguientes pasos:
Crea un objeto CustomerConversionGoal para los campos category y origin de la acción de conversión si aún no existe uno.
Crea un objeto CampaignConversionGoal para cada campaña y los objetos category y origin de la acción de conversión si aún no existen.
Configura el atributo biddable de los objetos CustomerConversionGoal y CampaignConversionGoal según varias reglas que se explican más adelante en esta serie de guías.
Actualiza los objetos CustomerConversionGoal que Google Ads creó automáticamente para que se alineen con tus objetivos. Establece biddable en true para ofertar y realizar optimizaciones en función de ConversionActions con los campos category y origin del objetivo, y false en otros casos. Google Ads aplica automáticamente estas actualizaciones a todas las campañas en las que no hayas actualizado explícitamente los objetivos de la campaña ni aplicado objetivos personalizados.
Si tienes una campaña con objetivos únicos que difieren de los objetivos a nivel del cliente, configura su CampaignConversionGoal siguiendo uno o ambos de los siguientes pasos.
Usa operaciones update para modificar el atributo biddable de cualquier objeto CampaignConversionGoal en el que el objetivo deba diferir de los objetivos a nivel del cliente.
Si configurar los objetivos de la campaña con category y origin no es suficiente, usa acciones de conversión específicas para las ofertas y la optimización creando un CustomConversionGoal y actualizando el ConversionGoalCampaignConfig de la campaña.
Como resultado de las operaciones de update, Google Ads garantiza que el goal_config_level del objeto ConversionGoalCampaignConfig de la campaña se establezca en CAMPAIGN y deja de aplicar actualizaciones de CustomerConversionGoal a los objetos CampaignConversionGoal de la campaña.
Si deseas que la campaña vuelva a usar objetivos a nivel del cliente, establece goal_config_level en CUSTOMER.
Google Ads modifica su CampaignConversionGoal para que coincida con CustomerConversionGoal y, siempre que goal_config_level permanezca establecido en CUSTOMER, aplica los cambios a CustomerConversionGoal en el CampaignConversionGoal de la campaña. A su vez, la campaña deja de usar cualquier CustomConversionGoals.
Requisitos de mutación
Cuando modifiques un objeto CustomerConversionGoal o CustomConversionGoal, el customer_id de la solicitud debe coincidir con el ID de la cuenta de cliente de conversiones de Google Ads de tu cuenta.
En cambio, cuando se modifica un objeto CampaignConversionGoal o ConversionGoalCampaignConfig, el customer_id de la solicitud debe coincidir con el customer_id del recurso Customer de tu cuenta de Google Ads.
Configuración de acciones de conversión
Si bien los objetivos se organizan por category y origin, puedes establecer el atributo primary_for_goal de cada ConversionAction para indicar el rol que debe desempeñar en las ofertas y cómo aparecerán las conversiones de la acción en los informes.
Si primary_for_goal es true, haz lo siguiente:
Google Ads incluye la acción de conversión en las ofertas según el atributo biddable de los objetivos del cliente y de la campaña para el category y el origin de la acción de conversión.
Google Ads no incluye la acción de conversión en las ofertas ni en las Conversiones, a menos que la utilices en un CustomConversionGoal. Aún puedes encontrar las conversiones y los valores de conversión de la acción de conversión en Todas las conv. y sus campos relacionados en los informes.
Las acciones de conversión con primary_for_goal establecido en true aparecen en la IU de Google Ads como Acción principal para optimizar las ofertas. De lo contrario, aparecen como Acción secundaria que no se utiliza para optimizar las ofertas.
