Method: accounts.productInputs.delete

  • Permanently deletes a specific product input from your Merchant Center account using a DELETE request.

  • Requires specifying the product input's name in the URL path, including account, channel, content language, feed label, and offer ID.

  • Needs the data source (primary or supplemental) to be identified in the query parameters for targeted deletion.

  • Utilizes OAuth 2.0 for authorization and mandates the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content scope for access.

  • Changes may take several minutes to reflect and retrieve the processed product after the deletion.

Deletes a product input from your Merchant Center account.

After inserting, updating, or deleting a product input, it may take several minutes before the processed product can be retrieved.

Path parameters

Parameters

Required. The name of the product input resource to delete. Format: accounts/{account}/productInputs/{product} where the last section product consists of: contentLanguage~feedLabel~offerId example for product name is accounts/123/productInputs/en~US~sku123.

Required. The primary or supplemental data source from which the product input should be deleted. Format: accounts/{account}/dataSources/{datasource}. For example, accounts/123456/dataSources/104628.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.
