उन सभी अनुरोधों में product_id_base64_url_encoded पैरामीटर जोड़ा गया है जिनके पाथ में प्रॉडक्ट आइडेंटिफ़ायर मौजूद है. इससे, आइडेंटिफ़ायर में फ़ॉरवर्ड स्लैश जैसे खास वर्णों वाले प्रॉडक्ट को वापस पाने और प्रोसेस करने की अनुमति मिलेगी.
अगर पैरामीटर की वैल्यू true पर सेट है, तो Merchant API, प्रॉडक्ट आईडी को डिकोड करेगा. इसके लिए, वह बिना पैडिंग वाले base64url डिकोडिंग एल्गोरिदम का इस्तेमाल करेगा. अगर इस नीति को false पर सेट किया जाता है या यह मौजूद नहीं है, तो डिकोडिंग लागू नहीं होती है.
