Method: comments.insert

Creates a new comment on the given file.

POST https://www.googleapis.com/drive/v2/files/{fileId}/comments

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
fileId

string

The ID of the file.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Comment.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Comment.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/docs
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
