Announcement: New basemap styling is coming soon to Google Maps Platform. This update to map styling includes a new default color palette, modernized pins, and improvements to map experiences and usability. All map styles will be automatically updated in March 2025. Enable hardware acceleration
In order to support 3D Maps, hardware acceleration must be enabled in most
browsers. To enable hardware acceleration in Chrome and Microsoft Edge, open
Settings, select System, and ensure that Use hardware acceleration
when available is enabled.
