Se updateMask não for fornecido(não definido, definido com caminhos vazios ou apenas com "" como caminhos), ele vai atualizar por padrão todos os campos fornecidos com valores na solicitação. O uso de "*" como updateMask vai atualizar todos os campos, incluindo a exclusão de campos não definidos na solicitação.
