Method: products.delete

  • Permanently deletes a specified product from your Merchant Center account using the DELETE method.

  • Requires your merchantId, productId, and optionally a feedId for supplemental feed deletions.

  • An empty request body is necessary, and a successful deletion results in an empty response body.

  • Utilizes the https://shoppingcontent.googleapis.com/content/v2.1/{merchantId}/products/{productId} endpoint for the operation.

  • Needs authorization with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/content scope.

Deletes a product from your Merchant Center account.

Path parameters

merchantId

string

The ID of the account that contains the product. This account cannot be a multi-client account.
productId

string

The REST ID of the product.

feedId

string

The Content API Supplemental Feed ID. If present then product deletion applies to the data in a supplemental feed. If absent, entire product will be deleted.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.
