Guía de inicio rápido: Complemento para Documentos de Google

Completa los pasos descritos en el resto de esta página y, en unos cinco minutos, habrás creado un complemento de Documentos de Google que traduce texto en una barra lateral.

Configurar

  1. Crea un nuevo documento de Google.
  2. Dentro de tu nuevo documento, selecciona el elemento de menú Extensiones > Apps Script. Si aparece una pantalla de bienvenida, haz clic en Proyecto en blanco (Blank Project).
  3. Se cambia el nombre de Code.gs a translate.gs.
  4. Para crear un nuevo archivo HTML, haz clic en Agregar un archivo > HTML. Asigna el nombre sidebar a este archivo (Apps Script agrega la extensión .html automáticamente).
  5. Reemplaza el contenido de translate.gs y sidebar.html por el siguiente código.

  1. Haga clic en Guardar .
  2. Haz clic en Proyecto sin título, asígnale un nombre a la secuencia de comandos, y haz clic en Cambiar nombre. El nombre de la secuencia de comandos se muestra a los usuarios finales en varios lugares, incluido el diálogo de autorización.

Probarlo

  1. Vuelve a tu documento y vuelve a cargar la página.
  2. Después de unos segundos, aparecerá un submenú Guía de inicio rápido para Traductor debajo del menú Complementos. (Si elegiste un nombre diferente para la secuencia de comandos, ese nombre aparecerá en su lugar). Haz clic en Complementos > Traductor de inicio rápido >.
  3. Aparecerá un cuadro de diálogo para indicar que la secuencia de comandos requiere autorización. Haga clic en Continuar. Luego, un segundo cuadro de diálogo solicita autorización para servicios de Google específicos. Lea la notificación detenidamente y, luego, haga clic en Permitir.
  4. Aparecerá una barra lateral. Para probarlo, escribe texto en tu documento, selecciónalo y haz clic en el botón azul Traducir. Para reemplazar el texto en el documento, haz clic en Insertar.
