With Content API, it was possible to set up API authentication using Merchant
Center. While we have removed this capability, your existing keys remain valid.
You can continue to use them.
Important things to know
You need not take any immediate action.
Your access to the API continues.
To enable Merchant API for a Google Cloud project, you must have the Admin
role (roles/admin). If you have the necessary permissions, do the
following:
Select the relevant Google Cloud project. If you don't find the project,
you don't have access. You will need to create another Google Cloud project.
For instructions, see Authorize access to your
account.
If you have access, in the search bar, type "Merchant API".
In the resulting list, select Merchant API.
On the Product details screen for Merchant API, select Enable.
You should see a screen that resembles the following.
