Los diálogos son interfaces basadas en tarjetas con ventanas que abren las apps de Chat para interactuar con los usuarios. Para ayudar a los usuarios a completar procesos de varios pasos, la app de Chat puede abrir diálogos secuenciales.
Los diálogos son útiles para los siguientes tipos de interacciones del usuario:
- Recopilar información de los usuarios
- Autentica usuarios con servicios web
- Establece la configuración de la app de Chat
Abrir, enviar o cancelar un diálogo requiere una respuesta síncrona desde una app de Chat con un DialogEventType.
Los diálogos no son compatibles con las apps de Chat compiladas con una arquitectura asíncrona, como Pub/Sub o el método de mensaje create. Si tu app de Chat usa una arquitectura asíncrona, usa un mensaje de tarjeta en lugar de un diálogo.

Abrir un diálogo
Tu app de Chat puede abrir un diálogo cuando un usuario hace clic en un botón de un mensaje de tarjeta.
Tu app de Chat puede abrir un diálogo en respuesta a un usuario que emite un comando de barra.
Cuando un usuario abre un diálogo, tu app de Chat recibe un evento de interacción con la siguiente información:

Cómo abrir diálogos secuenciales
Cuando las interacciones del usuario requieren más de un diálogo, puedes abrir otro. Para ello, muestra el siguiente diálogo de la secuencia en respuesta a un SUBMIT_DIALOG
DialogEventType.
En el botón de tarjeta que actualiza el diálogo, muestra onClick.action.function como el nombre de la función que abre el siguiente diálogo y mantén onClick.action.interaction sin especificar.
Cuando finaliza, la app de Chat recibe los valores que los usuarios ingresaron en el diálogo en formato JSON. Responde con un mensaje de texto o de tarjeta para informar a los usuarios que su interacción fue exitosa.
Cuando los usuarios hacen clic en un botón de un diálogo, la app de Chat recibe un evento de interacción con la siguiente información:

Cuando una app o una tarjeta de Google Chat muestran un error, la interfaz de Chat muestra el mensaje “Se produjo un error”. o "No se pudo procesar la solicitud". A veces, la IU de Chat no muestra ningún mensaje de error, pero la app o la tarjeta de Chat producen un resultado inesperado. Por ejemplo, puede que no aparezca un mensaje de tarjeta.
Aunque es posible que un mensaje de error no aparezca en la IU de Chat, hay mensajes de error descriptivos y datos de registro disponibles para ayudarte a corregir errores cuando está activado el registro de errores para las apps de Chat.
