Historical Street View imagery

Historical Street View imagery lets you seamlessly explore panoramic street-level imagery from different time periods within an immersive 3D environment. With this feature, you can travel back in time and see how places have changed over the years.

To explore historical Street View imagery, do the following:

1. Click a place or search for a location.
2. At the bottom of the screen, click Pegman.
3. Select a highlighted area.
4. Select history See more dates to open the Street View timeline.
   • A slider or collection of thumbnails appears, showing the available dates.
   • Select a specific date to load the historical Street View imagery for that time.
5. To return to the most recent imagery, click first_pageBack to latest.
