Can I leverage the program with other credits or offers?

The program can be used along with a $200 monthly Google Maps Platform no-charge usage and for the Maps startup credits for eligible participants in the Google Cloud for Startups Program. The $200 monthly credit and the Google Cloud for Startups Maps Program credit will be calculated using the ONDC program pricing. Once all applicable credits are used, you will be charged for usage based on the ONDC program pricing.

Who is eligible for ONDC pricing?

The ONDC program is available to all ONDC network participants based in India. Specifically, as an ONDC participant:

  • You must be in any of the 4 defined roles in the ONDC network (Seller, Buyer, Technology Service provider, or Gateway). Your name must be listed on the ONDC website (https://ondc.org/), and you must have a valid business ID from ONDC.
  • You must have billing and have a large majority of usage in India. Customers select the appropriate billing country when creating their billing account in the Google Cloud Console.

Google will monitor eligibility and may disqualify non-eligible customers from this program.

What about customers who do not fully meet the eligibility criteria? For example, their billing is in India, but their usage is not. Are they eligible?

The ONDC program is only available to India-based customers who incur a large majority of usage in India and are billed in India.

How long will the ONDC program be available?

The ONDC program is a limited-time program. The sign-up window for the program starts on August 1, 2024, and is open until August 1, 2025. ONDC pricing will be valid for three years from the program start date, until August 1, 2027. Please work with participating Google Maps Platform partners for full program details.

What happens at the end of the program?

At the end of the program, your pricing will automatically revert back to India list price as published on the Google Maps Platform India pricing page.

I am a current GMP customer and planning to onboard onto ONDC. Do I qualify for the program?

Yes, you can access the ONDC program even if you are a current Google Maps Platform customer, as long as you meet the eligibility criteria.

Why are you only offering the ONDC program through a select set of Google Maps Platform partners?

The partners you can work with to access the ONDC program have a proven track record of working with and supporting developers in India.
