Tiện ích bổ sung của Lớp học giúp nhà giáo dục tích hợp các công cụ EdTech mà họ yêu thích trong giao diện Google Lớp học. Giáo viên có thể chọn, giao và chấm điểm nội dung của bên thứ ba trong Google Lớp học. Nhờ đó, giáo viên và học viên có thể học tập một cách liền mạch.
Tiện ích bổ sung bổ trợ cho các tính năng khác của API Lớp học. Tiện ích bổ sung giúp giáo viên và học viên trải nghiệm nội dung của bạn mà không cần rời khỏi Google Lớp học.
Áp dụng nhiều phương thức tích hợp để cung cấp cho người dùng những cách thức thân thiện để truy cập vào nội dung của bạn ở nhiều nơi hơn.
Tiện ích bổ sung cho phép người dùng tạo tệp đính kèm cho bài tập, thông báo hoặc tài liệu. Các tệp đính kèm này sẽ mở nội dung của bên thứ ba trong iframe trong Google Lớp học. Các iframe này sẽ mở các URL riêng biệt tuỳ thuộc vào loại người dùng và bối cảnh của Google Lớp học.
Nhà phát triển tạo các ứng dụng tiện ích bổ sung được phân phối thông qua Google Workspace Marketplace. Giáo viên có thể cài đặt ứng dụng vào tài khoản Google Workspace for Education của riêng mình hoặc quản trị viên Google Workspace có thể cài đặt ứng dụng cho người dùng là giáo viên. Sau đó, giáo viên tương tác với ứng dụng để tạo tệp đính kèm.

Tập trung bài tập của học viên – Học viên gặp khó khăn trong việc cân bằng sự phức tạp của việc điều hướng quá nhiều hệ thống và vị trí để làm bài tập ở trường. Với các tiện ích bổ sung, học viên có thể truy cập trực tiếp vào bài tập ở một nơi để tập trung vào bài tập trên lớp thay vì công nghệ.
Chấm điểm – Giáo viên cho biết việc chấm điểm tốn nhiều thời gian, dễ xảy ra lỗi và khó quản lý trên nhiều công cụ. Tiện ích bổ sung cho phép giáo viên nhanh chóng truy cập vào điểm do các công cụ của bên thứ ba cung cấp và kết hợp điểm đó với ý kiến phản hồi bổ sung ngay trong Lớp học.
Dịch vụ đăng nhập một lần (SSO) của Google – Giáo viên và học viên gặp khó khăn khi phải nhớ thông tin đăng nhập cho nhiều công cụ khác nhau trong lớp học.
Tiện ích bổ sung giúp đơn giản hoá quy trình này bằng cách cho phép người dùng đăng nhập vào các công cụ bên thứ ba chỉ bằng một tài khoản.
