You can use the following methods to change the state
of a
Client
. state
is set
to ACTIVE
for new Client
resources automatically after the client accepts
the invitation.
You can set state
to INACTIVE
for a given Client
to revoke the client's
access to the Authorized Buyers Marketplace UI.
Deactivate
You can deactivate an active Client
with the
buyers.clients.deactivate
method.
For example, you can use this method if you want to disable a client’s access to the Authorized Buyers Marketplace UI.
When you deactivate a Client
, it loses access to the UI. You can still view
and negotiate proposals on behalf of deactivated clients.
The following sample demonstrates how you can deactivate a Client
with the
deactivate
method.

Reactivate
You can reactivate an inactive Client
with the
buyers.clients.activate
method.
For example, you can use this method if you want to restore a client’s access to the Authorized Buyers Marketplace UI after deactivating it.
The following sample demonstrates how you can activate a Client
with the
activate
method.
