Is there a rate limit on the API?

Address Validation API has a default rate limit of 6000 Queries Per Minute (QPM). See Usage limits and billing for more information.

Is the Address Validation API CASS Certified™?

The United States Postal Service® (USPS®)1 maintains the Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS™) to support and certify address validation providers. The Address Validation API is a CASS Certified™ service that you can optionally use as part of the address validation process.
