This document describes how to create your Privacy Sandbox Console account and provides resources to help you get started. Follow the steps to begin using the features of the Privacy Sandbox Console.
Register for a Privacy Sandbox Console Account
Step 1: Access the console. Sign into the console using your Google Account.
Step 2: Choose an account type.
Organization Account
Choose if you're creating an account for an organization or business, including if you're a sole proprietor.
Here's what you'll need:
- A contact email address
- This will only be used to contact you about your account, if needed.
- Your organization's D-U-N-S number
- Organization accounts are only created for parent level companies.
- Provided by Dun & Bradstreet, a D-U-N-S number is a unique nine-digit number that is used globally to identify businesses. Google uses your D-U-N-S number to verify your organization. Learn how to find or request a D-U-N-S number below.
- When filling out your organization's name, be sure it matches the D-U-N-S name exactly.
- If you are an individual and not affiliated with an organization, or your organization is not able to obtain a D-U-N-S number, you may enroll as an individual.
If an account for your organization has already been created and you require access, please contact your account administrator.
What is a D-U-N-S number and how can I get one?
Before starting enrollment, make sure you have a D-U-N-S number for your organization. This is a unique nine digit number provided by Dun & Bradstreet that is used to identify your business, and is checked as part of the Privacy Sandbox enrollment verification process. If your company has been issued multiple D-U-N-S numbers, provide the highest level one that represents your overall corporate entity. If your business is not a legal entity, you won't be able to obtain a D-U-N-S number.
Note: D-U-N-S numbers are widely supported and you can find country-specific help on the Dun & Bradstreet International Sites.
To check if your company already has an assigned D-U-N-S number, or to obtain a new D-U-N-S number, make a request using the console by clicking 'Get started' under 'Organization'. Google has a complimentary, expedited Dun & Bradstreet request process available for this purpose. Once you've made the request, we will send you an email with a unique, one-time-only link to visit the Google-specific landing page to submit your business details. If you don't complete submitting your information, you will need to request another link from Google.
Note: Once completed, it takes approximately five to seven business days to receive your D-U-N-S number. If it's taking longer than that, reply to the email you received when you submitted your enrollment form (the email that contains your unique Dun & Bradstreet link). As part of their process, Dun & Bradstreet may contact you to gather additional information.
Individual Account
Choose if you're creating an account for yourself and don't have a business. If you have a business but are unable to obtain a D-U-N-S number, you may also enroll as an individual.
Here's what you'll need:
- A contact email address
- This will only be used to contact you about your account, if needed.
Step 3: Submit your account creation request through the console.
Step 4: Wait to hear back from us for any additional information needed. Once your account is approved, you will be notified.
