In general, the two most-recent major releases of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and
Safari (on a rolling basis) are supported.
When you upgrade to a supported browser, you may also need to update your
browser preferences to allow cookies and JavaScript in order to use all the
tools available.
Older web browsers can have problems with tag behavior. These issues are less
common in modern web browsers. If your product requires support for older
browsers, test thoroughly with preview and debug mode before deployment.
Effective July 15, 2024, Google Tag and Google Tag Manager will stop supporting
Microsoft Internet Explorer. While scripts may still function, Google won't
actively test or fix issues on Internet Explorer. This aligns with Microsoft's
decision to end Internet Explorer support on June 15, 2022.
