בפורטל השותפים אפשר להציג נתונים גם בסביבת ה-Sandbox (לפעמים נקראת 'Partner Dev') וגם בסביבות הייצור. מתג החלפת הסביבה נמצא בחלק העליון של ממשק המשתמש של פורטל השותפים. תמיד חשוב לזכור באיזו סביבה אתם נמצאים.
תכונות מסוימות ב-Partner Portal מגדירות הגדרות גלובליות. כלומר, הם מציגים רק נתונים מסביבת הייצור, והם לא מושפעים ממעבר בין סביבות. התכונות האלה מוזכרות במפורש במסמכי התיעוד של פורטל השותפים.
