DeviceReference היא הפשטה של API שמאפשרת לספק ארגומנט device ל-method באמצעות אחד מסוגי המזהים הבאים:
מזהה מספרי של משאב API.
מזהי חומרה בעולם האמיתי, כמו מספר IMEI, השייכים למכשיר שיוצרו.
