미국 지질조사국(USGS)은 여러 연방 기관과 협력하여 현재 7개의 국가 토지 피복 데이터베이스(NLCD) 제품(NLCD 1992, 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, 2019, 2021)을 개발하여 출시했습니다. 2016년 출시부터 토지 피복 제품은 2~3년 간격으로 생성되었습니다.
