Method: comments.get

Gets a comment by ID.

GET https://www.googleapis.com/drive/v2/files/{fileId}/comments/{commentId}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
fileId

string

The ID of the file.
commentId

string

The ID of the comment.

Query parameters

Parameters
includeDeleted

boolean

If set, this will succeed when retrieving a deleted comment, and will include any deleted replies.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Comment.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/docs
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.meet.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly
