В Условиях обслуживания API-сервисов YouTube («Условия») говорится (в разделе 14), что, когда YouTube намерен внести обратно несовместимые изменения в API-сервисы YouTube, YouTube объявит об этих изменениях и попытается продолжать поддерживать программный код в течение шести месяцев после объявления.

В случае внесения обратно несовместимых изменений в тематические API-сервисы YouTube приложит разумные усилия для поддержания кода как минимум до 10 февраля 2018 г., то есть через год после вступления в силу настоящих Условий. Что касается других сервисов, YouTube постарается продолжать поддерживать код программного обеспечения в течение шести месяцев с даты объявления об этих изменениях.
Исключения
Некоторые функции Субъектных API-сервисов не подпадают под действие правил, определенных в разделе 14.3 Условий, поскольку на эти функции также не распространяется политика прекращения поддержки, определенная в предыдущем наборе Условий. Полностью устаревшие службы API
Следующие службы API полностью устарели. На них распространяется политика прекращения поддержки, изложенная в Исходных условиях, и период прекращения поддержки закончился. YouTube не обязан объявлять о критических изменениях в этих сервисах или продолжать их поддерживать:
