I Termini di servizio dei servizi API di YouTube (i "Termini") stabiliscono (nella Sezione 14) che, qualora YouTube intenda apportare modifiche incompatibili con le versioni precedenti ai servizi API di YouTube, le comunicherà tali modifiche e proverà a continuare a mantenere il codice software per sei mesi dopo l'annuncio.

Informazioni sulle date di ritiro
Nel caso di modifiche incompatibili con le versioni precedenti dei Servizi API Subject, YouTube compirà ogni ragionevole sforzo per mantenere il codice almeno fino al 10 febbraio 2018, ossia un anno dall'entrata in vigore dei presenti Termini. Per altri servizi, YouTube cercherà di continuare a mantenere il codice del software per sei mesi dalla data di annuncio delle modifiche.
Esenzioni
Alcune funzionalità dei Servizi API dell'oggetto non sono soggette alle regole definite nella Sezione 14.3 dei Termini, in quanto anche tali funzionalità non erano soggette alle norme sul ritiro definite nella serie di Termini precedente. Quando un'esenzione si applica a una proprietà object, si applica anche a qualsiasi proprietà secondaria di tale proprietà.
