GoodReads là một trang web miễn phí dành cho những người yêu sách. Tích hợp với Tìm kiếm Sách của Google
Thông qua quan hệ đối tác với các nhà xuất bản và dự án quét thư viện, Google đã tích luỹ được một bộ sưu tập đủ các loại sách: Goodreads muốn biến những cuộc trò chuyện diễn ra xung quanh sách trên trang web của mình vào chính cuốn sách thực sự.
Goodreads xuất sắc trong việc giúp mọi người tìm thấy cuốn sách họ muốn đọc, thông qua đề xuất từ bạn bè hoặc những độc giả khác có cùng sở thích. Tuy nhiên, không giống như một hiệu sách thực sự, thành viên không thể chọn một cuốn sách mà họ nghĩ rằng họ muốn đọc và lật lật xem. Việc nhúng bản xem trước sách bằng cách sử dụng API Tìm kiếm Sách của Google sẽ giúp thay đổi điều đó, cho phép thành viên duyệt qua sách trực tuyến ngay trên trang web.
