How to create smart chips to preview links in Google Docs

In this video you will  learn how you can create smart chips to preview links in Google Docs for third-party services using Google Apps Script. When you type or paste a Google Books URL into a document, the add-on recognizes the link and triggers a link preview. To preview the link, you can convert the link into a smart chip and hover over the link to view a card that displays more information about the book.

Google Workspace for Education customers controls to manage third-party apps users

Because third-party app settings are important to protecting users’ data, we’re asking Google Workspace for Education admins to review and confirm their current settings are up to date by October 23, 2023. Starting October 23, 2023, users designated as under 18 won't be able to access third-party apps that Admins haven't confirmed access settings for. There are no actions required from third-party apps developers, you can refer to these best practices other developers have found helpful.
